Data protection

§  1 Information about the collection of personal data

(1) In the following we inform you about the collection of personal data when using our website. Personal data are all data that can be related to you personally, e.g. B. Name, address, email addresses, user behavior.

(2) Responsible according to Art.  4 para.  7 EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is the company application 4U, owner Asmahan Gamgami, Hinter den Höfen 32, 40589 Düsseldorf (see our imprint).

(3) When you contact us by e-mail or using a contact form, the data you provide (your e-mail address, possibly your name and telephone number) will be saved by us in order to answer your questions. We delete the data that arises in this context after it is no longer required to store it, or we restrict processing if there are statutory retention requirements.

(4) If we use contracted service providers for individual functions of our offer or would like to use your data for advertising purposes, we will inform you in detail below about the respective processes.


§ 2 legal basis for the processing of personal data

(1) Insofar as we obtain the consent of the data subject for the processing of personal data, Art.  6 para.  1 lit.  a EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as the legal basis for the processing of personal data.

(2) When processing personal data that is required to fulfill a contract to which the data subject is a party, Art.  6 para.  1 lit.  b GDPR as the legal basis. This also applies to processing operations that are necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures.

(3) Insofar as the processing of personal data is necessary to fulfill a legal obligation to which our company is subject, Art.  6 para.  1 lit.  c GDPR as the legal basis.

(4) In the event that vital interests of the data subject or another natural person require the processing of personal data, Art.  6 para.  1 lit.  d GDPR as the legal basis.

(5) If processing is necessary to safeguard a legitimate interest of our company or a third party and if the interests, fundamental rights and freedoms of the person concerned do not outweigh the first-mentioned interest, Art.  6 para.  1 lit.  f GDPR as the legal basis for processing.


§ 3 data deletion and storage duration

Your personal data will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage no longer applies. Storage can also take place if this has been provided for by the European or national legislator in Union regulations, laws or other provisions to which the person responsible is subject. The data will also be blocked or deleted if a storage period prescribed by the standards mentioned expires, unless there is a need for further storage of the data for the conclusion or fulfillment of a contract.

(1) You have the following rights vis-à-vis us with regard to your personal data:

§  5 Collection of personal data when you visit our website

(1) If you only use the website for informational purposes, i.e. if you do not register or otherwise provide us with information, we only collect the personal data that your browser transmits to our server. If you want to view our website, we collect the following data, which is technically necessary for us to display our website to you and to guarantee stability and security (legal basis is Art.  6 para.  1 p.  1 lit.f GDPR):

The data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer required to achieve the purpose for which they were collected. In the case of the collection of data for the provision of the website, this is the case when the respective session has ended.

(2) In addition to the aforementioned data, cookies are stored on your computer when you use our website. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your hard drive and assigned to the browser you are using and through which certain information flows to the place that sets the cookie (in this case by us). Cookies cannot run programs or transmit viruses to your computer. They serve to make the Internet offer more user-friendly and effective overall.

a)  This website uses the following types of cookies, the scope and functionality of which are explained below:

-   Transient cookies (see b)

-   Persistent cookies (see c).

b)  Transient cookies are automatically deleted when you close the browser. This includes in particular the session cookies. These store a so-called session ID, with which various requests from your browser can be assigned to the common session. This allows your computer to be recognized when you return to our website. The session cookies are deleted when you log out or close the browser.

c)  Persistent cookies are automatically deleted after a specified period, which can differ depending on the cookie. You can delete the cookies at any time in the security settings of your browser.

§  6 Further functions and offers on our website

(1) In addition to the purely informational use of our website, we offer various services that you can use if you are interested. To do this, you usually have to provide additional personal data that we use to provide the respective service and for which the aforementioned data processing principles apply.

(2) In some cases, we use external service providers to process your data. These have been carefully selected and commissioned by us, are bound by our instructions and are checked regularly.

§  7 Objection or revocation against the processing of your data

§ 8 Use of Google Analytics

(1) This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service from Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files that are stored on your computer and that enable your use of the website to be analyzed. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. If IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. The full IP address will only be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there in exceptional cases. (2) The following data is collected:

App updates, click path, device information, flash version, IP address, pages visited, referrer URL, widget interactions, browser information, date and time of visit, downloads, location information, purchase activity, usage data.

(3) The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

(4) You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; we would like to point out, however, that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by using the browser plug-in available under the following link. (5) This website uses Google Analytics with the extension "_anonymizeIp ()". As a result, IP addresses are further processed in abbreviated form, so that personal references can be ruled out. § 9 Integration of Google Web Fonts

(1) We use Google Web Fonts on this website. This means that when you call up the website, your browser will load the required web fonts into your browser cache so that texts and fonts can be displayed correctly.

(2) In order to be able to load the required data, your browser must establish a connection to the Google servers. This gives Google knowledge that this website has been accessed via your IP address. § 10 Integration of Google TagManager

(1) We use the Google TagManager service on this website. No personal data is recorded by this. The tool only triggers other tags. These in turn can collect personal data.

§ 11 Integration of Google AdSense

(1) This website uses the online advertising service Google AdSense, through which you can be presented with advertising tailored to your interests. We are interested in showing you advertisements that may be of interest to you in order to make our website more interesting for you. For this purpose, statistical information about you is recorded, which is processed by our advertising partners. These advertisements can be recognized by the reference "Google advertisements" in the respective advertisement.

(2) When you visit our website, Google receives the information that you have accessed our website. To do this, Google uses a web beacon to set a cookie on your computer. The under §  3 of this declaration is transmitted. We have no influence on the data collected, nor are we aware of the full scope of the data collection and the duration of storage. § 12 Use of social media plug-ins

(1) We currently use the following social media plug-ins: Facebook and Instagram. We use the so-called two-click solution. This means that when you visit our site, no personal data is initially passed on to the plug-in providers. You can recognize the provider of the plug-in by the marking on the box above its initial letter or the logo. We give you the opportunity to use the button to communicate directly with the provider of the plug-in. Only if you click on the marked field and thereby activate it will the plug-in provider receive the information that you have accessed the corresponding website of our online offer. In addition, the under §  5 of this declaration is transmitted. According to the information provided by the respective provider, the IP address in Germany is anonymized immediately after it is collected. By activating the plug-in, personal data will be transmitted from you to the respective plug-in provider and stored there (for US providers in the USA). Since the plug-in provider collects data in particular via cookies, we recommend that you delete all cookies using the security settings of your browser before clicking on the grayed-out box.

(2) We have no influence on the data collected and the data processing operations, nor are we aware of the full scope of data collection, the purposes of processing or the storage periods. We also have no information on the deletion of the data collected by the plug-in provider.

(3) The plug-in provider saves the data collected about you as a user profile and uses this for the purposes of advertising, market research and / or the needs-based design of its website. Such an evaluation is carried out in particular (also for users who are not logged in) to display needs-based advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, although you must contact the respective plug-in provider to exercise this right. If you are logged in with the plug-in provider, your data collected by us will be assigned directly to your existing account with the plug-in provider. If you press the activated button and z. If, for example, if you link the page, the plug-in provider will also save this information in your user account and share it publicly with your contacts. We recommend that you log out regularly after using a social network, but in particular before activating the button, as this allows you to avoid being assigned to your profile with the plug-in provider.

     § 13 Use of our web shop

     (1) If you would like to order in our webshop, it is necessary for the conclusion of the contract that you provide your personal data, which we need to process your order. Mandatory information required for processing the contracts is marked separately; further information is voluntary. We process the data you provide to process your order. For this purpose, we can pass on your payment data to our house bank and, depending on your selection, to PayPal, Klarna or GiroPay. The legal basis for this is Article 6, Paragraph 1, Sentence 1, Letter b of the GDPR.

     (2) Due to commercial and tax law requirements, we are obliged to save your address, payment and order data for a period of ten years. However, after two years we will restrict processing, ie your data will only be used to comply with legal obligations.

(3) To prevent unauthorized access by third parties to your personal data, in particular financial data, the order process is encrypted using TLS technology.
